Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2013, (formerly African Network Operators’ Group(AfNOG) and the African Network Information Centre (AfriNIC) Workshop & Meetings) is pleased to announce that the 14th AfNOG Workshop & Meeting and the AfriNIC-18 Meeting would be held in Lusaka, Zambia from 9th to 21st  June 2013.  Every year, hundreds of Network Engineers from across the IT industry in the Africa Continent and the world  attend the AIS Event.

 

About the Entire Event

AIS is organizing a two-week event that includes the AfNOG Workshop on Network Technology (offering advanced training in a week-long hands-on workshop), several full-day Advanced Tutorials, a one-day AfNOG Meeting, and a three-day AfriNIC Meeting.  In addition, several side meetings and workshops will be hosted in collaboration with other organizations.

This Saturday, C4DLab will be hosting Nairobi Python User Group (NaiPUG), with Nejc Zupan (@nzupan), a high profile Python/Plone expert who has presented in previous PyCon’s. The agenda of the Bootcamp will be Python and Plone.

This event is targetting all attendees right from Python pre-beginners to ninjas. There will be a short session to get you started with Python. However, basic programming skills will be assumed, preferably in C/Java/PHP/JavaScript.

There will be limited space, tickets will be issued on first-come-first-served basis. Pick your ticket and make sure you present them on the day of the event.
